I have always been moved and very curious by the words to Sweet Reunion. They carry a great deal of religious truth and doctine. Are the words influenced by any religious belief or did the Spirit whisper life is eternal? What prompted the writing?

I have felt this truth of eternal life for most of my life. It was not too big a jump for me from 12 years of Catholic school and the doctrine of an eternal soul to the Eastern idea of reincarnation. Plus, I had a palpable experience of past lives when I fell in love with Julia. I understand this kind of Spiritual clarity is not uncommon during the falling in love time.
